The Bill Young Productions
facility sits on two park-like acres in the Houston suburb of Sugar
Land. The area is primarily a residential community and has been home
to such companies as BMC Software, Texas Instruments, Mazda, and Schlumberger.
The studios were designed by the award winning design firm of Russ
Berger and Associates of Dallas and include edit suites for audio,
video, graphics, animation, and website design.
It was radio where Bill Young Productions first gained national attention.
And it still remains one of the major areas of the company's business.
There are 8 audio post-production suites, all identical in acoustical
design and equipment. Each room features accelerated Pro-Tools workstations,
all networked to a master server. There is a full compliment of "outboard"
processing in each room, including Lexicon, Eventide, DBX, and Aphex.
